The red Camellia
N° 1 of Chanel au Camélia Rouge. Chanel beauty line with red camellia.
Here we are, a quiet Saturday in January trying out my new skincare purchases. Because as always it is almost an obsession for me, which as I had already said other times has been emphasized with the disease. In the most painful period for me, in the hospital when no one knew what I had, having products like cleansing milk, make-up remover (it’s not that I wore makeup but I used it anyway), serum, lipstick (which they didn’t use) they always gave a sense of serenity and I pretended to be at home, with my things and as if nothing had happened.
But then we know what happened. And anyway today, this Saturday, I don’t think about it and instead think about these things that I bought and tried this morning.
First of all I like to buy in the store, in the one in Florence for now, because they explain things to me, they are all super kind and professional and advise very well because by now they know my skin better than myself.
Obviously then you can buy on the site and with the make up also the “try” mode is useful and fun.
The first one I tried is the powder, to be precise “poudre de mousse”. It really is a powder. Then wet hands, a little bit of powder and then rub their hands. The powder magically becomes a mousse to spread on the face. A cleaning mousse. Light and delicate, it leaves the skin super smooth.
Then the eye contour cream. Also this delicate and fresh. Super moisturizing and radiant. Sometimes you will find heavy and very greasy eye contour creams (I know something because I have tried them all). This one, on the other hand, is not. very light it also has some luminous pigments that give light to an always important area.
Finally the lips. The Lip Balm. Now I’m someone who only used red lipstick (I still have many shades and textures). With the advent of the mask I changed my “style”, making up my eyes. And the lips I had forgotten. Here this is the solution. A delicate and moisturizing conditioner that also has a touch of light color (in this case I got “in love”).
Here it is .. I must say that I really like the “red camellia” line. Maybe new formulas and products that are getting lighter and lighter.
I actually can’t wait to try in the beauty boutique in London. Of course the products will be the same … but who knows, maybe with an English air, the camellia will always be red?
